On behalf of the Weyauwega Fire Department

I would like to welcome you to the Weyauwega Area Fire

District website.

I am very proud of the men and women members of our department they are devoted to our community and strive for excellence in everything they do.  The members are dedicated to reducing the effects of fires, rescues and dangerous emergency response activities through training, education, prevention, inspections and public education.

As our Mission Statement states, the Weyauwega Area Fire Department strives to promote life safety, reduce human suffering and property loss through public education, inspections and fire prevention programs. To mitigate the consequences of fire, accident or disaster in the communities we serve. To recognize that every individual is valuable, maximize each member’s potential and remember that ethical values remain the core of all actions made by each member of our Fire Department. To reach for the future, never forget the past.

I encourage you to browse the site to gain a better understanding of how we meet this mission. Please use the fire and life safety information provided to help keep you safe while at home, work, school, or play.  In case of emergency, please call 911. The Weyauwega Area Fire Department is a volunteer / paid on call department. We currently do not have regular office hours but appointments can be made by contacting us via email or phone. We encourage those with questions to please contact the fire department, if someone is not readily available, please leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

The Weyauwega Area Fire District protects 68.3 square miles and serves an approximate population of 4000 people.  The district is comprised of 4 municipalities the City of Weyauwega, Town of Weyauwega, southern three fourths of the Town of Royalton and the eastern half of the Town of Lind.

We proudly serve our community to help keep everyone safe through the efforts of our members.

If you are interested in becoming a firefighter with the Weyauwega Fire District please download the fillable application and email it to Chief Cullen.  Feel free to call the fire station phone on the cover page with any questions and leave a message or call Chief Cullen’s cell phone that number is on the answering machine.  No experience is needed we will train you after you join the department.
